Spencer Heaney

Spencer was born in Northern Ireland and educated at Campbell College Belfast and Newcastle Polytechnic.

His career started with a Business Information Technology background and then moved into Retail, followed by Business Travel Management.

In 1997 Spencer joined Allied Dunbar as a Financial Adviser, joining Carl at the Practice in 2001 and becoming one of the founding franchisees of Openwork in 2006.

2009 saw the inauguration of the Summers Heaney Partnership; with Carl Summers Financial Services providing the brand of “Strong Partnerships and Local Presence” in Newport and throughout Shropshire.

Away from work Spencer is involved in the local cycling and skiing community which he combines with trips to the mountains and spending as much time as he can with his family.
